I started out my college career as a pre-med student. Then on a whim I auditioned for the prestigious BFA acting program. Well, as it turned out, I got in and ditched med-school (sorry mom and dad). I received my Bachelor of Fine Art degree with an emphasis in acting from UC Santa Barbara. During that time I spent a semester abroad in England with The Shakespeare School where I got to learn and play alongside members of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Since living in Los Angeles I've studied with some of the best teachers the city has to offer, including: All of my teachers at The Groundlings, Robert Carnegie of Playhouse West, Brian Drillinger of Edgemar Center Studios, the genius Aaron Speiser who taught me how to be a human on stage, and my current amazing teacher Rob Watzke who starts out all classes with meditation so we can be centered and calm humans on stage. I own a busy pilates studio in Santa Monica called Physical Artistry and I volunteer at Friends of Animals Rescue and Shelter. I'm also working on my first novel which I hope to finish at some point in my lifetime. Acting is about living so I strive to experience as many treasures that life has to offer.
